Director's Message

Dear Community Members:

The library is a community space for finding information, sharing family time, or relaxing while reading a book. Librarians worldwide believe libraries are for everyone and that all citizens should have access to knowledge.

MVPL is a provider of free books, information, ideas, and education for all. All you need is a library card!

The library is here for you. Whether looking for a book for pleasure reading, or books for research you can find it at the MVPL. If it is not on the shelf, it can be shipped from another Missouri library to this library through the courier service.

A patron once said the MVPL was as hidden gem in the area and that patron is correct.

Come in and see what is in the library because you will be pleasantly surprised, and I know you will want to come back again and again.
